LG Household & Health Care has unveiled the full version of its first commercial video featuring actress Kim Ji-won for the luxury cosmetic brand ‘The Whoo.’
This new advertisement, part of the brand’s rebranding, highlights The History of Whoo’s heritage through Kim Ji-won’s delicate acting and digital elements, redefining the identity of ‘luxury beauty.’
The 30-second video, released across digital platforms like YouTube and Instagram, introduces the newly rebranded ‘Bichup Self-Generating Anti-Aging Essence,’ enhanced with the key anti-aging ingredient ‘NAD+.’
The video also showcases symbolic elements like the mysterious ‘veil’ and the illuminating ‘cheongsachorong’ (traditional Korean lantern), representing the new direction of the brand.
The setting of the ‘palace,’ where Kim Ji-won arrives, reimagines a space of royal beauty, leaving a strong impression of The History of Whoo’s unique heritage.
Kim Ji-won’s performance, along with her narration, captures the anticipation and mystique surrounding the ‘distinctive customer experience’ that The History of Whoo promises to deliver.
Her portrayal of the ‘Royal Beauty Science’ transformation enhances the brand’s luxurious image. On set, Kim’s ability to seamlessly shift from a playful demeanor to intense focus during the shoot earned admiration from the crew.
