Choi Yoon-ra Joins Cast of ‘My Girlfriend is a Real Man’ Set to Air Next Year
Actress Choi Yoon-ra has been confirmed to star in the upcoming drama “My Girlfriend is a Real Man”, based on a popular Naver webtoon.
In this new project, Choi will take on the role of Kim Ji-hye, a character who is inexperienced in romance, marking a fresh challenge for the actress.
“My Girlfriend is a Real Man” (written by Lee Hae-na, directed by Yoo Kwan-mo, produced by Studio N, Blossom Entertainment, and Playgrounds) tells the chaotic love story of Park Yoon-jae (played by Yoon San-ha), who struggles to handle his girlfriend, Kim Ji-eun (played by Oh My Girl’s Arin), after she unexpectedly transforms into a handsome man overnight.
Choi Yoon-ra will portray Kim Ji-hye, the older sister of Kim Ji-eun. While Kim Ji-hye appears to be an expert in love, she is actually inexperienced, still harboring feelings for her first love from high school. This new character offers Choi the chance to show a different side of her acting as a “romance novice.”
Since her debut in the 2017 JTBC drama “Untouchable”, Choi Yoon-ra has impressed viewers with her performances in dramas such as “Bad Papa”, “Blind”, “The In-Laws”, and most notably, as the lead in “The Love in Your Eyes”, where her captivating portrayal of a villain left a lasting impression.
As fans eagerly anticipate Choi Yoon-ra’s on-screen chemistry with Arin in “My Girlfriend is a Real Man”, the drama is set to air next year.
