Actress Chae Jung-an Contributes to Child Welfare Through YouTube Campaign
Actress Chae Jung-an has donated 1 million KRW to the Korea Social Welfare Society to support children in protective facilities.
The Korea Social Welfare Society announced on September 10 that Chae Jung-an made the donation through her YouTube channel “Chae Jung An TV,” as part of the segment “Ireon, Zen-jang” (Oh No!).
In this show, her first guest, actor Kim Dong-wook, won 1 million KRW after successfully completing a friendship test with Chae Jung-an. Together, they donated the prize in the names of Chae Jung-an and Chae Jung An TV.
The donated funds will be used to support the care and upbringing of children in protective facilities under the Korea Social Welfare Society.
“Chae Jung An TV” showcases the actress’s fashion and beauty experiences along with candid glimpses into her daily life.
The channel has garnered over 250,000 subscribers. Chae Jung-an and Kim Dong-wook’s agency, KeyEast, stated, “It was touching to see them donate the prize without hesitation, reflecting their genuine friendship. We will continue to support their positive influence and encourage others to join their cause.”
Kang Dae-sung, president of the Korea Social Welfare Society, expressed gratitude, saying, “We deeply appreciate the donation from the subscribers and both actors. The Korea Social Welfare Society will continue to care for the children in protective facilities with utmost dedication.”
Chae Jung-an has been actively appearing on popular TV shows like MBC’s “The Manager” and “Radio Star,” sharing beauty tips and life insights. She is also preparing for the release of her upcoming film, For the Present.
Meanwhile, actor Kim Dong-wook is currently starring in the Disney+ original series Seoul Busters, playing the role of elite detective Dong Bang-yubin. He will also be hosting the 33rd Buil Film Awards in Busan on October 3.
The Korea Social Welfare Society, which celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, continues to lead in social welfare efforts for infants, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities across its 28 facilities and offices.
