“Pitch at 100” — Moon Sori Fulfills Her Father’s Wish
Actress Moon Sori is set to take the mound at her hometown stadium in Busan, fulfilling a long-cherished dream of her father.

On April 10, Moon So-ri will throw the ceremonial first pitch at the game between the Lotte Giants and the Kia Tigers at Sajik Baseball Stadium, alongside her father, Moon Chang-jun.
The event is part of the “Heritage Series – Mini Youngho Great Match,” a special exchange series hosted by Lotte Giants from April 8 to 10.
Moon So-ri, who is currently appearing in the drama “Thank You for the Love” as Oh Ae-soon, is a proud Busan native.
She has shared a lifelong love of baseball with her family, particularly cheering for the Lotte Giants with her father.
Notably, Mr. Moon had previously expressed on a television program his wish to throw a ceremonial pitch at Sajik Stadium upon turning 100.
This event marks the realization of that heartfelt dream.
Reflecting on the moment, Moon So-ri shared, “It brings back memories of watching baseball with my father when I was young.
Being able to do this in my hometown of Busan, and most importantly, with my father, is truly meaningful.”
The ceremonial pitch goes beyond a simple sporting tradition—it’s a touching celebration of family, hometown pride, and a daughter helping her father fulfill a lifelong wish.
