Hera Opens First Store in Bangkok, Showcases Signature Products
Amorepacific’s luxury beauty brand Hera has expanded its presence in Southeast Asia by opening its first store in Bangkok Thailand on August 8th.
The new store, located in the prestigious Central Chidlom department store in Bangkok, marks a significant step in Hera’s efforts to establish itself in the Thai market.
The grand opening event was attended by over 200 global media representatives and influencers. During the event, Hera introduced the brand’s philosophy and showcased its signature makeup looks and beauty routines. This event served as a platform for the brand to make a strong impression on the Thai audience.
In conjunction with the store opening, a series of pop-up store events were also held at Central Chidlom. Visitors had the opportunity to experience Hera’s top products firsthand and participate in professional makeup services and makeup shows led by Hera’s own artists. These events allowed the brand to engage directly with potential customers, offering them a taste of Hera’s luxury beauty experience.
Looking ahead, Hera is set to further expand its presence in Thailand. According to an Amorepacific spokesperson, Hera plans to open a pop-up store at Siam Paragon, one of Bangkok’s largest shopping malls, in September. Additionally, Hera is aiming to increase its distribution by entering major local multi-brand shops such as EVEANDBOY and SEPHORA. The brand has also been expanding its online presence, having launched on Lazada, Thailand’s leading e-commerce platform, in July. By the end of the year, Hera will also be available on Shopee and TikTok Shop.
Hera’s strategy in the Thai market will focus on its signature products, including the ‘Black Cushion Foundation,’ ‘Silky Foundation,’ and ‘Sensual Powder Matte’ lip tint. The ‘Black Cushion Foundation,’ which has maintained its position as the top cushion brand in Korea since its launch in 2017, has already garnered significant interest among Thai consumers, who value long-lasting coverage and a light finish.
A Hera representative stated, “Following our successful expansion into Japan last year, we are accelerating our efforts to penetrate overseas markets, aiming to establish Hera as a global luxury makeup brand. In Thailand, where beauty trends are keenly followed by a young and vibrant consumer base, we will leverage our unique product offerings and aesthetic vision to strengthen our competitive edge.”
This expansion into Thailand represents a strategic move for Hera as it continues to build its global footprint in the luxury beauty market.
